This post is for ALL members. Due to the changes coming to bases, there will be a massive remodel of the entire base, in an effort to supply more... everything. A quick note for everyone not familiar with the changes coming:

While that might not sound like much, the removal of raid pathing will allow for much more intricate base designs (including intersecting objects and placement of objects in doorways). Between the new prices and the relative freedom of design, the base will be shut down shortly after i13 launches.

What this means for you:

Please do not stock the enhancement tables further. Also, starting 11/10/08, remove what enhancements you can and either store it in the market or on hand. The goal is to condense the enhancement storage as much as possible so that the minimum number of tables remain (making reconstruction easier). Keep in mind that MORE storage will eventually be available. This is a temporary solution only.

Also, make sure any IO salvage you have stored in the base is removed. Full storage bins are difficult to work with when base editing.

Don't worry about the base salvage bin... base salvage can be converted to invention salvage after i13 launches, so that will not be an issue for us.

Make any suggestions you might have for the base reconstruction now (here). It is my goal to keep everything in the spirit of what we currently have, and only offer new, better choices.

While the base is down, feel free to use Paragon Defense Inc's base for your transportation needs. Our base should only bedown for a day.
