Welcome to June! It's the height of summer, and things are heating up despite certain administrative delays in the release of our glorious newsletter. I know how much you were all looking forward to this exciting update, so I'll get right to it:

1) This month's event!
This month's event will be a PvP battle between the Hollow Brigade and the Guardians of Soul Society. Owing to the aforementioned delays, it will occur on the third Sunday of this month, mostly because I suspect everyone already has plans tomorrow. Discussion / choosing up sides will occur during the Hollow Brigade play sessions the next couple of weeks, however, here is an outline:

- Both SGs will be bringing no more than one team into Siren's Call at 7 PM Eastern. We'll be in Siren's Call to allow Arrancar to compete one semi-equal terms with members of the Guardians, who will find their powers sealed to prevent further damage to the mortal inhabitants of this ruined neighborhood.
- We will be using the SG global channel to communicate across sides and coordinate affairs, so be sure you're a member of it, and have it where you can see it.
- The victorious Supergroup - as determined by which side has the most kills by 8:30 PM - will host our next monthly event! Those of you who only have characters in the Hollow Brigade or who, unaccountably, like them better, may see this as incentive.
- Times and prizes are subject to adjustment based on discussion before the event.


2) Various administrative changes!
The Hollow Brigade will be receiving a rank revamp as soon as it lets me change the titles for Overlord and Grand Overlord, or as soon as Hoguera does it. We'd like to have a discussion about promotion to various ranks, organization into squads, and incentive for promotion, since the current system is not really one we take advantage of. Genesis has also mentioned a plan to theme our Hollow Brigade officers around "aspects of death." It is unclear to me what he means by this, and it's a purely RP-related idea, which makes it difficult to speculate about this, so ask him.

3) Other website excellence!
The website is undergoing a redesign to add a Hollow Brigade section to the forums and move my beautiful Ninth Squad's individual forum into a sub-forum so that it's even less likely that anyone looks at the newsletter archives. The informational sections will be updated to include information on the Hollow Brigade, as well.

4) Our Mission Architect work:

If you have one you'd like added, reply there to request that it appear. Genesis_Man is leading an ongoing effort to establish, archive, and host a canon story for both of our SG's. We'll coordinate additions through the onsite polling system and the usual backdoor lobbying that goes on in any organization of substance. I still have not received most of the costume pictures or files I requested from the last Superteam! If I have to improvise, your character may discover an affection for pink. You've been warned.
