I've restored this from the original draft; I'm going to start archiving newsletters here in the 9th Squad forum because that's how Counter-Intelligence rolls. It's April! We've launched a new superteam! That means it's time for the next exciting Guardians of Soul Society newsletter. This issue is brought to you by @Embroiler (Rafael Arrebatado) and the letter S.
1) Hollow Ember: A Bleach ST -
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=13303921&an=0&page=0#Post13303921 As we all know, we've launched a new superteam, and the relevant information is on the City of Heroes boards at the link above. We had 4 new players with us on the 18th, and a couple of others trickled in near closing-time; welcome to the team, guys! Our next session will be on the 25th, from 8PM Eastern Time until no later than midnight.
Over the next week, as you go about your business on other characters, please keep an eye out for Mission Architect storylines that are fun and appropriate to a level 10 group; we'll be needing some. In fact, a considerable portion of this super-team's focus will be on the Mission Architect, so if you see something enjoyable to play later on, let us know. Yes, we'd be happy to play anything our members have cooked up.
Once bases are safe to edit again, we'll be wanting to pretty up the Hollow Brigade base. Volunteers interested in that duty should contact Maeda or Admin by PM on our forums.
2) Other MA-Related Business:
http://goss.2morpg.net/mission-writing-f11/download-resource-t43.htmhttp://goss.2morpg.net/mission-writing-f11/terra-volta-st-memorial-arc-t45.htmIf you've got an urge to write your own Bleach or GoSS-related missions, @Genesis Man (Hoguera) is building a resource database of enemy groups for us to be hosted at the first link above. At the time of writing nothing is hosted yet, but that's where to look once it is. Expect future updates on this.
Meanwhile, I'd like to make an arc commemorating the last superteam. Veterans thereof should either host and post screenshots of their pre-accident costumes at the second link above or prepare a saved costume file in CoH. You can e-mail those to Auralynx at Hotmail.com, my ancient and venerable Hotmail account. Please put "CoH Costume" or something similar in the title so I can find them amidst the spam. Ivy, who is an overachiever, has anticipated my instructions and should serve as an example to the rest of you! I will eventually want to use the fancier costumes most of you cooked up later, but for now, let's get these together.
3) Monthly Event:
Our first GOSS monthly event will be another attempt at the SG's personal nemesis, Statesman's Task Force. This and future monthly events will occur on the second Sunday of every month. As we are past that date in April, we'll take another shot at Lord Recluse on May 10th. This date is subject to revision, so if it's problematic, once again, contact an officer. Those of you with more than one blue-side character should feel free to use whichever one is your favorite; the other will be assumed to be sitting in the base sobbing because of the horror of rejection.
4) Other:
http://goss.2morpg.net/forum.htmJust to be thorough, I want to remind everyone that we have forums and we should use them.
If you have friends who are looking for a reliable group of people to play with redside, don't forget to mention us. We've got room for more.
Other questions / suggestions / baking recipes / news about where I can order a fancy sombrero for a friend should be directed to Maeda by PM on our forums, or to Admin if you want to go over my head. Your other option is to track us down in-game.
